Josh and Sara: Cascade Mountains

Josh and Sara met me in a coffee shop close to the mountain pass we'd be driving into to go find some snow. We piled into my little car and found more adventure than I could have hoped for. Further up along the highway we came upon a large hill covered with kids and sleds. Being from North Texas, where we get minimal snow, my heart was immediately filled with glee. We scrambled further up the hill to find a quiet spot for some photos.

This lovely couple just got married last summer. They were so sweet and kind towards each other during our session. Not an ooey-gooey kind of sweetness that makes your teeth hurt, but a soft and slow unique gentleness that I hope that they will carry throughout their marriage. It was such a thrill getting to explore with them for the afternoon.

Joshua and Lydia: Georgia Wedding

The bride is a girl after my own heart. Lydia wanted her wedding to take place in autumn somewhere in the mountains surrounded by family. Just driving to where the wedding was going to take place in Helen, GA felt like an adventure. Cabins dotted the landscape and behind the towering trees the Georgia mountains rolled on. The ceremony was sweet and the reception was catered by friends and family. On the menu... chili and pie!

It was a beautiful wedding and I was so blessed to be able to capture some of the moments that took place. Congrats Joshua and Lydia!

Daniella: Sneak Peek

Daniella is a dear heart; she is a traveler and dreamer. But she's not some ethereal creature without substance (although she is a beauty.) It takes a lot to survive in NYC and I've watched her battle through disappointment and triumph in the midst of it. She's a beautiful warrior and I can't wait to share more of her session.
