Since beginning grad school in 2016, I've started to explore the intersection of art and psychology. Where words falter, images can take over. It's a different way of giving a voice to heartache, anger, and feelings that have yet to be named in someone's story. I found working in layers of watercolor and collage helped me be more free and playful with how the final image took shape.
